Senator Security Protects BISLEY Office Furniture in Surrey and Wales.

Bisley Office Furniture is a UK manufacturer of steel storage for the office. Operating from two locations in the UK; Bisley, Surrey and Newport, South Wales. They currently employ nearly 1000 people in those locations and the Bisley cabinets are used and renowned worldwide.

The Bisley and Newport production facilities, totalling 64,000 square metres, deliver a combined output of over 20,000 pieces of furniture per week. As a key part of the Bisley production on site, Senator Security provides 24 hour security at both locations ensuring all assets, property and staff are safe and secure. This is a strict security regime, maintaining efficient and diligent co-ordination of all deliveries, contractors, staff and visitors to site and helping the onsite team’s seamless operation for the delivery of the end product to their customers. Senator has many years experience in planning and implementing security solutions for the warehouse, distribution and logistics hubs together with the supporting business and office environment; able to vett and train security personnel, monitor and sustain quality of service and become a valuable part of the infrastructure of a successful ‘supply chain’ or manufacturing operation.

Senator has qualified staff, investing in the right people and training to support our field operatives. Senator has a proven system of on-site management and communications backed up with a senior manager conducting regular site visits and meetings with production and transport managers – this is valuable when the locations require a scaleable and adaptable security presence.Traditional security including CCTV,key holding, alarm response and mobile patrols is backed up with support from Senator’s, own UK based, 24/7/365 monitoring centre. Senator are also able to draw on experience from other sectors to enhance the planning and execution of disaster recovery, evacuation and terrorist threat procedures.

Car park and traffic management are often an integral part of Senator’s responsibilities; this can range from internal and perimeter foot patrols through to mobile patrols for larger sites and full car park management as members of the BPA.

Robbie Ryan, Senator Security Director:“This illustrates the versatility of the security services we are able to offer our clients; with advance planning, a thorough site survey and good communications we quickly become a vital and pro-active part of the operating infrastructure of a business. We have been working with Bisley Office Furniture since 2009 and it is a good example of ‘best practice’ security provision for a business reliant on supply chain, uninterrupted manufacturing and protection of people, property and assets from threat of trespass, theft or vandalism.”
