Acknowledged for it’s expertise within the security sector for delivering integrated public area surveillance, asset protection and manned security services for clients as diverse as Network Rail, King’s College and Cardiff Council; Senator Security continues to grow despite the current economic challenges with new clients in England and Wales.
July 2010; Lichfield, UK; Senator Security, one of the UK’s leading independent security services providers is assisting Northampton Association of Youth Clubs/Action Centres UK as it builds a new activity centre next to the arboretum at Alrewas, Staffordshire; on ground donated by local landowner John Gilmour.
Senator Security’s Bill Searle commented, “This is a tremendous project here at Whitemoor Lakes, our operational team and colleague Terry Little, met the site manager, Terry Edmunds, when the first part of surveying and ground clearance was underway and after evaluating the project and applying a good degree of local knowledge, Senator was asked to put together and submit a security plan for the project. On formulating the plan Senator Security bore in mind that this was a charitable project involving the local church organizations and the plan was designed to create a security presence while being sensitive to the project and the environment – this will include mobile and manned guarding. Very important is the liaison with local community, the nearby quarry, local people and farmers to form an information network to alert each other of any suspicious and potentially criminal activity or trespass in the area. I am delighted that the plan was accepted and has now been implemented.”
Senator Security are also involved in the visit of Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Gloucester on the 16th July 2010 when she lays the foundation stone for the new centre. Senator Security will be assisting in the car parking and general safety and security in the immediate vicinity together with the grounds and lake during the events of the day. Senator Security is contributing towards the project by providing a level of security free-of-charge.
Sean McGranaghan, Senator Security’s Managing Director commented, “It is this type of project that really brings to the fore the importance of local knowledge – remote locations such as these can often attract uninvited guests and the nearby quarries have, for many years, been targeted by the criminal element. Having our experience allows us to identify and design our techniques to combat such threat… I’m also proud of the way our operation has adapted to the scale of this project… sometimes people think we only have large clients and projects. Northampton Association of Youth Clubs/Action Centres UK activity centre is perfect for our mobile patrols and local manned guarding teams.”
Andy Grice, Senator Security’s Operations Director added, “The Midlands team are an experienced team and are fast to adapt to client need and able to develop a workable security solution that’s tailored to the client need. I have no doubt they worked closely with the Project’s management team and were able to give proactive suggestions throughout the development process and we look forward to being a valued partner to the Northampton Association of Youth Clubs/Action Centres UK in the future.”
